Default A different structure for the comments on specific bonuses

You must have thought back and forth about the structure of the discussion forum, but I think there's at least one flaw.

That is, now that the bonus changes are all in one thread, that thread will continue growing and will contain scattered information about different bonuses. I do agree that it's handy to have one place where all the changes are reported. But, on the other hand, it would be much easier to read through all the reports about a specific bonus if they all had their own message thread. (Well at least those that have had any comments about them.)

The most common scenarios for the comments on bonuses:

    1) Considering starting a certain bonus. Want to see that there aren't any significant changes on the bonus. Read through the corresponding thread.

    2) Before & during cash-out. Want to see how other players have succeeded with the cash-outs.

    3) During pending cash-out. Want to hear how long the cash-outs have usually taken.

Now, a way to circumvent this is to use the search, which is fine as it is. But I think that it's clearly inferior to this way of structuring the comments as individual threads. For one, one gigantic bonus change thread is going to have a wide variety of ways to spell a certain casino name. The comment might not even have the casino name in it, or it might use some other name. With the one thread per casino/bonus approach, there would not be a problem like this at all. All relevant comments would be in the same thread.

Following the changes wouldn't be more difficult. In fact, I think it would be easier as a potential bonus change now shows up just as a new comment in the "Bonus changes" thread, without giving any indication of what bonus is the comment about. If there was a dedicated forum for such changes, and a thread for each bonus, you would immediately see that someone has said something about XXX/YYY casino/bonus and if you're currently grinding it, or considering starting, you would hurry up to read that particular comment.

    Agree, disagree?

Well, bonus changes thread is just an information thread. You donīt have to follow it as an user, because I as an admin make the changes to the lists too. So the only thing you really need to read are the lists, because they are updated. I hope that users add changes they notice to bonus changes thread and then I do the list modifications so that other users get the message.

I donīt know if this answers any questions, but basically what I want to say is that users donīt have to follow bonus changes thread, because I will update the lists. Of course there is a time lag of about 0-24 hours if I am away or sleeping or something, so it is wise for users to check if there are very recent changes in the thread about that certain bonus they are attempting to take. But Iīd guess itīs enough to check the last page of the thread then, not the whole thread.

    Yeah, that's a reasonable answer.

It's just that I've had a habit of reading everything about a certain bonus before I make the deposit. I guess it's a bit irrational in a sense that I know that you have high standards for including bonuses on your lists. It's just sometimes useful to hear other people's experiences and minor details, which you won't be including in the lists.

But I'm fine with this, it was just a suggestion.

And now that I look at the bonus forum, it seems that the content organizes itself this way anyhow, so it's not a problem.

The volume in commenting has dropped, but maybe that's just a function of the new site and the new language.
