What is the schedule for the new site?

We are still waiting/working on for some key content of the site, so the grand opening will happen this week but not today.

If there won´t be any technical problems, we will open the main URL on Saturday-Sunday (10.-11.) night GMT.

There won´t be all the planned basic content available at the very beginning, but those will be uploaded during 12.-18.5, so the site will evolve much during May.

Also we have a ton of ideas about things we will be offering to our users in the future. These things will be added and announced later on May and following months.

I will be playing one biggish poker tournament propably tonight, so if I am able to go deep in it, there´s a chance that I will postpone opening by a day. I want to concentrate to my game only if I make deep in it. But we´ll see.

We will open Sunday night - early Monday morning (to avoid peak hours).

Some of the basic content will be missing however in the very beginning, but will be added early in starting week (we can´t add some content before the site has been open a few days because of the co-operative reasons between Winner Gambling and online gambling operators).

Well, we are working on it with my programmer, but he has a day job also, so he has to sleep obviously too.

Well, as said, better not to make any promises anymore. Let´s just say we´ll open soon. People are watching ice hockey anyway for a next few days.

Actually I made a "strategic" choice...First I thought that I would open this pretty incomplete, but then I thought that maybe its better to get about 80% complete before opening...Ice hockey WC 2008 is going anyway so people is watching TV and not browsing around.

OK, I will give now a promise.

We will be opening on Monday, 19th (maybe at night 19.-20.).

We have much content ready already yet, but I want about ~85% to be ready before opening, so that the rest can be then done in a week or so and users have enough content to browse already at the very beginning.

We will have an opening promo too - I will inform about it then. Also much, much interesting content coming - new featured bloggers (very, very interesting one(s)) etc. in May-June. We want to make this very enjoyable and useful for our users.

Our programmer seems to have gotten stuck at his workplace still (it is 11PM here) . So I guess he won´t be available tonight to do to the opening...Well, I hope tomorrow or at latest on wednesday evening he won´t have to stay late at his day job so he is available to do the opening. God damn IT-industry... (this should go into the bitching thread, shouldn´t it).

Sorry, can´t help it. Other guys in our team don´t have enough competence in these things so we have to wait him to be available to do it.
