Default Betfair

Betfair sports exchange needs it's own topic.

How can you display odds so that they include comission? I looked and looked but didn't find anything from the options...

I guess there isn't that kind of option..? So I just always "count" it myself.

Just lose your bets like I do = zero commission.

An example situation:

Player has a bankroll of €500. He makes a back bet in a tennis match. Later when the odds have changed, he makes a lay bet so that whatever the result will be, players bankroll will be €520.

Player makes €520 bet in another game.

The tennis match starts but is canceled before the first set is completed. Betfair rules say all bets will be void if the first set is not completed.

What happens and who pays the €20?

I'm not sure if I follow you properly, but the player can't place the €520 bet, because he doesn't have enough money in his account. His bankroll is completely or partially tied in the back and lay bets. What I'm trying to say that you can't bet on credit. You must actually have the funds to bet with at the time of placing the bet.

Or am I way off here? Does the Betfair system actually let you bet on credit?

The amount that will win regardless of the result can be used immediately. In my example player will have €520 regardless of the result so he actually can use the money instantly after he has made the lay bet. It's not credit.
