First major of the season starting on Thursday.

My pick to winner with current odds is Hunter Mahan (110 @ Betfair).
He finished T6 last week on PGA tour competition and T22 week before that so definitely his game is in good shape at the moment. Also I think now after two succesful years at PGA Tour he already has enough experience to be able to take this kind of championship down.


Other surprise picks could be (but not with these odds yet):
Anders Romero (140 @ Betfair) - played very well last year in majors, even though start of this season hasn't gone that well.
Ian Poulter (130 @ Betfair) - very experienced player who has never really won anything big. With these two I am waiting a bit for better odds though.


EDIT: And to make sure everyone gets it - idea is to make a longshot bet that can be sold with lower odds at some point.

H2H: Carlsson - Stenson 1.80-9.00-2.20 @ PAF, Stenson 2.20 4/10 ~50%.

Odds should be other way round to be correct. 200€ maximum.

Did you sell this off yesterday when his odds were ~14? Or what kind of profit satisfy you when you make this kind of bets?
