actually I read an interesting book about horse race betting. The idea is to lay the "false" favourite and make money. There is a site www.racingpost.co.uk has alot of info about the horses. the guide I read was "how to lay favourites for a living" by Kristian Jackman. the book teaches you to evaluate the horses and the odds and make value lays. Did it myself for a while with a nice profit but then quitted as I didn't have enough time for it.
