About 2000€ which is quite a big amount for me. I had money also in Neteller but I withdrew it when I noticed the MB account was hacked. Yesterday I deposited that money back to Neteller and I will start gambling again. I will never trust to Moneybookers again!

I consider random 18 numbers and a password safer than just an email and a password... Also Neteller has an automatic system that freezes the account if someone logins to your account from foreign country.
Just sharing my own episode with Neteller.

Someone logged into my Neteller account from Jamaica and transferred 5k$ away. Automatic system froze the account, but only after the money was stolen. So the system is not working as one would expect.

I got the money back in a couple of weeks. Invested some of it to buy better security software.

It worked fine for me - I logged in to my account from Latvia and it was immediately closed.

Hehe I got a message from MB that "your money is in safe hands". It states for example that "Moneybookers protects your account against unauthorized access and use." Did you get that e-mail PMmarkus?

I'm sorry to bump an old thread, but I'd like to know if you got your money back. I also had my moneybookers and neteller accounts hacked on June/July on 2008. Neteller gave my money back after multiple phonecalls and emails.

Moneybookers support told me that the money had "left the system" and there was nothing they could do. Lost about 2K€. Didn't go to police because I was pretty sure there was nothing they could do.

I've just recently started gambling again and trying to build my bankroll up again.

There is nothing new about the case. I sent lot of E-mails to MB and made report to local police. I think I have to wait few years more and after it Finnish police calls that cannot do anything to the case.
