Default Small VP Bonuses, too risky?

Virgin offer 2 bonuses each week which are only +EV on VP. I would do them but they're only £10 and £20, so I suspect VP with it's variance would bust me every time, and if I deposited £50 to take care of that I'd be risking a lot for a small gain. Does is usually make sense to do these anyway, or am I right to be cautious?

    Default Virgin weeklys

You could consider playing these with 10-play JOB, but it is not shown on the wagering page for different games. EV/SD/(£/h) with 5£ bets for example would be around 16/127/32 for the thursday 20£ bonus. You would get a royal twice a year in average. The other VP variations are worse.

Better game to use is 3-card poker 2nd chance. HE/SD is 1,07/1,62. With 5£ bets you get around 11/106/26 for EV/SD/(£/h) for the thursday bonus.

Claiming the bonus, depositing, withdrawing and cover play take time, so these weeklys seem a bit too small nowadays. I played the weeklys last year for a while, when they were somewhat bigger. The monthly is playable.
