Default Variance using different bet sizes

I have a simple question from where i can't find an simple answer.

Are the odds to win and loose and variance exactly the same if you play blackjack with singlehand bet size 6 or three hands at same time using bet size 2?

My "logic" says that using three hands is a little bit less random. Am i right or wrong or is there any difference between these two options?

Its easy to understand that these two situations are not the same. Using many small bets instead of one bigger is normally very bad idea. If you choose to use 10e betsize it is roughly the same thing as:

    2*7,3e=14,6e
    3*5,7e=17,1e
    4*4,7e=18,8e
    4*5,0e=20,0e

And normally this takes much more time so that one big bet is the best way to minimize losses and maximise hourly rate.

    EV is the same.

Like catepillar said but there's one exception to this rule. Sometimes when you play with software that uses very much time checking blackjack like Crypto and you have somewhat slow connection in the same time it could be better to play multiple hands. In my experience when the connection is bad, it affects Crypto software mostly so that it checks the blackjack like 10 seconds every time so it's really annoying.

Hmm, interesting. So if I want to speed things up a little its better to go with betsize 2 than 2x1?
However return and variance calculator gives a higher chance of gain for 2x1 and also theres less deviation.
    Blackjack, generic
    Bonus amount: 50
    Wagering: 1250
    Bet size:2
    Hands: 1
    Chance of gain: 80,3%

    Bet size:1
    Hands: 2
    Chance of gain: 84,9%

    Am I misunderstanding something here?

If you play 5 hands 1 bet each the variance is about the same if you'd have one 3 bet hand. Not one 5 bet hand. But it's much faster with one 3 bet hand than five 1 bet hands.

Only the fact that it almost doubles the time (depending on the software). Of course 2*1e is better than 1*2e if we speak only about variance and chance of gain. But when seeking the optimal speed-variance-ratio, one medium size (maybe about 1.5e in your case) bet is the best choice.
