Well, in HU PLO it's a cooler to get top2 against a set on flop.

Against this particular opponent I shoulda maybe even folded though. He seemed very nitty in the 6-max games earlier. I am wondering if this is Antti Mäkelä who is a columnist on one finnish poker site. I saw him chatting to other known finnish high-roller later at this table.

OMFG! Incredible 10 buy ins down in PLO! And SOME of those were even because of bad luck? Oh my, never ever seen anything this sick...

    ...just kidding, keep blogging.

I wanted to exaggerate on topic of course too see if thread gets more love that way.

Up a bit more today, so over +$3k mark for the month. Still pretty far from the $10k though (not gonna happen because I won't play enough this week).

Have been grinding a bit more.

Still suffering from those beats as my equity graph below shows (down $2,350 for the month in equity), but 10k hand mark passed for the month, hooray.

    Default 30.8.2008 End of August

Well, my games for August are finished. And August sucked big time. I ran so bad at PLO1k that almost /wrists. -$6000 there. Some hands are at previous posts.

Ending month up ~$6,000 with everything (rakeback, tournament losses etc.) is pretty miraculous considering that fact. I laso played bad at sometimes so can't be too happy at my own performance either. Well, beats the day job I guess. Maybe rest of the year will be better. I will be using a bit different blogging method from now on putting all the entries from the same month to one thread. Maybe it will bring more discussion.

    Good Saturday evening for everyone!

Actually played a bit more still. Unfortunately the graph is not the whole truth, since I lost ~$1350 at non-PT sites and some tournament losses. Upside is €€€-games and rakeback (~$1000), so I think that the final score is somewhere in the $7500 ballpark.

    Default 09/2008 Life Quality

I start to put monthly thread to this blog, where all the entries from topic's month will go.

This month's theme is Life Quality, which means following goals for the month:
    • No alcohol on September
    • 4 times per week gym
    • 2 times per week other sports (jogging most likely)
I'll update how I manage with these weekly. Should be interesting to see if I make it or not (only exception is that if I become sick or get injured do that I can't do any sports for some time).

How hard you think it is to be without alcohol for whole month if one hasn't had longer than a week break before this in last 5 years or so?

Sorry, mate, but I laughed aloud when read this. Maybe that was because I once made same kind of goals for myself into my own blog and just after I had wrote them down I became really sick and failed miserably to reach any of them.

Well, the alcohol goal is the most important one. Let's see how it goes.
