I think this kind of hands are extremely critical when it comes to winners and losers. Hope you add your opinions about right lines Few of these may seem to be easy decisions but I really think they are Not. Always must think different strategys.

It's useful to use hand converter so that those hands are much more readable.

A good one is available here. It requires free registration. Select FTR output when converting hands, and our forum software will show hands and cards correctly. If you don't want to show whole hands, just erase the part you want to cut after copy/pasting it to your post.

    Comments:

First hand I either 4-bet (not full pot) or fold pre to his 3-bet. Depending on reads. You can still lay down to 5-bet. Makes post-flop easier.

Played like this I have to fold on turn.

Second hand I drop on turn against unknown.

Third hand I call flop and push turn.

Default 20.10.2008 End of one period

    Ciao,

I've played some more on Passionbet. As the headline says I really feel like one period has came to its end now. Last friday I lost over 10000€ under 10 hours of time and that really got me more than I expected -definitely I've played too long now and too big hours. I did came back with solid winnings on the weekend and last two weeks came up with great $-results as we see on the graphs (last ~35k$). I've played tons of heads up omaha and that feels quite an easy task. I think this "HU-trend" has helped me a lot; there are many not-that-developed players on fire now. Passionbet and B2B offers a great chance for that. Just go with the bonuscode passionvip and give a shot. After a while you may post better graphs than me !

Here are some of my stats for whole period:

    Peace.

I put some analyzes for those three hands above:

    1st:

Villain 3-bet me whole time and with my AK73s I have no reason to fold here. My hand is better than his on average, but I dont wanna gamble too much by 4-betting. Thats stupid becouse I think I will get my monies in more positive sooner or later (and if I 4-bet my hand It would be extremely hard to get any value after hit on flop, and hard to play missed flop against overaggressive fish in this case 200bb deep). And he's no folding for my 4-bet so that is clear call no doubt.

Flop came K J J with 2 spades and I really did like this one. Villain c-bets here everything becouse my tableimage was solid. Probably pocket K's is the only hand he checks here...He bets 240 and I instacalled. Villain must feel like I'm strong here becouse he knows that I fold bad draws here. I could call here as float-call, but he dunno that yet.

Turn 2d didnt really change anything. Villain continued his bets with potsize 720$ and that one really got me feeling im ahead. I think that only a good player would put that 720$ in with like boat or J, representing a bluff. Opposite bad players usually overbet these situations as bluff and underbet strong hands. The pot was like 1,7k$ and so the effective stacks. I had plenty of chips to make my move here and villain can't call only with flush draw or str8 draw if I shove. Also I could make a call here which must make my hand look superstrong. Against these kind of villains the problem is that they cannot fold flush or str8 on river, and also I think that they would check blanko river with air in this case. So in my perspective everything arguments me to push and 99% of times I follow my read and do that. My experience says that there will be fold by villain like 70-80% of times.

But in some reason I did make a terrible fold (long sessio, tired etc.), which was the worst decision here and -for a long time . After a while villain wrote he had air (who knows is that true or not though). But the red line here is: if villain is not a good player and his line doesnt make any logic it's usually a bluff. Rather push against bigger bet than smaller one.

    2nd:

These kind of hands are there a lot when some draw gets complete and original raiser takes it back just a bit. Maybe more often it happens on river but these are very vital. We are playing here again close to 200bb deep and then there must be more bluffing and semibluffing against solid-weak villain. I raise almost every hand on HU and preflop is standard. Villain has played solid and I feel like he just kind of play his own cards. That is not standard for swedish player if I remember right

Ok, the flop Q 6 3 with 2 diamonds is fine giving me a bit of everything. I have some certain ways to bet flops on HU but cant tell you everything here This case villain checks and I bet the pot as standard. Villain makes a minraise (usually a horrible play), and I definitely put him for something real due to he earlier folded so many hands on flop. 2-pairs or small set are close to truth here usually. I snapcall the raise becouse my hand is strong here (position, HU).

The turn gives 2 and villain continues his betting. After minraise on flop I dont feel he could have a straight. And I definitely could have it So after underpot bet by villain I decide to make it ~ 280€ as a semibluff. I really like this raise against solid villain becouse he probably folds here over 70% of times and I still have nice equity against call. Villain things a long and decide to call turn. Now the pot is like 650€ and we have 2/3 pot both left.

The river is 4 and there is no flush chance out. Villain checks to me and I'm a bit confused for his line. However I'm pretty confident that he folds often enough against my push. I decide to bet 310€ which should show even stronger than all in. With this bet I should win the pot like 1/3 of times and I definitely make it over 50% here. Villain calls with Q3. I still loved my play here and it brings some $ in a long run. The lesson here: be ready to make big bluffs when board is dangerous in villains point of view!

    3rd:

The last but not least. This hand is against one regular player on B2B. The game is now 116BB deep and just earlier I did won a big pot against mr. Amorenka. He seem to tilt pretty easy and I'm used to play against tilted players HU So the setup is perfect for me. I have a trashy hand but decide to raise it and tilted villain, like usually 3-bets me and I call. If I have 4 different cards and 115BB deep that is a good place to call on position. Sometimes I hit something good and it's hard for villain to forecast, and many times it possible to steal the pot also.

Luckily for me, I hit the nuts. The flop came 6 4 2 with flush draw and I have 3 5. Amorenka makes it instantly 150€ and standard play is raise here. In my opinion call >> raise. Tilted villain probably feels that my hand is like flush draw, 2 pairs or pair and some straight draw, and I call. The pot is now 450€.

The turn is 9 and there is still that one flush draw. Amorenka bets the pot 450€ and it's pretty standard play in his perspective. Usually he takes the pot home with that bet. Now of course, I raise the pot pushing myself all in. In these kind of situations tilted players basically calls with any playable hand, but this time Amorenka instafolded. I definitely argue that he would have called with 2 pairs or a draw but now he had nothing. Too often hero raises the pot here and scares tilted villain away. Let the tilted villain push.

This was the first time I came out analyzes in this level. If there are questions about hands or anything just ask. My poker isn't always easiest thing to explain so there must be some lacks for sure .

hello, those are good examples of difficult omaha hands..that second hand would give u a straight with river 4, yet u say that u lost that pot? third hand i would play exactly the same, or with position u could just call the turn bet and if it doesnt flush he would propably bet one more barrel in case u were on a draw...keep posting these difficult omaha hands, its great to see how other dudes play with these situations!!!

editn that second hand what hand ranges u put the villain on? that min-raise usually is either very strong hand(qqxx) and wants to give u a raise option to overplay your aaxx hand..or its high cards with q and maybe flushdraw, two pairs play the same way to lure u to overplay your aces/kings...

Yes, I did put there on the second hand wrong river it was 5 (didnt have str8 or flush). My mistake . My range for villain was 2pairs, set or maybe nut flush draw. Other possibilities were great minority. Weak villain does that minraise so rarely with draw or bluff...

On 3rd hand against better player I usually raise the flop. But now after that smooth call on the flop I definitely must raise the turn. As I said his calling range is wide as possible and I dont want to give him cheap river (and put me on hard task maybe). Also the pot is over 1000€ on the turn after Ive paid 450€ so there really aint that much left. I feel like over 90% of times villain makes all in there on turn and maybe fold his overpair etc after scare river for him.
