All Aces Video Poker

About All Aces

All Aces is a video poker variation that is currently available on Microgaming software only. Interestingly it has the lowest house edge (0.08%) of all common video poker variations. At the same time it has very large variance and many high paying hands. It can be a useful choice for those who are looking for a game with lower house edge than blackjack. However, high variance increases the risk of busting.

“Payout” shows the payout in terms of how many times the total bet is returned.

“Probability” shows the probability of getting this type of hand.

“Return” shows how much of total return this hand represents from the total return. For example we see that 9.5% of total return comes from getting four Aces.

The first “Odds” column shows how many hands it takes on average to get that payout. We see that it takes ~1850 hands on average to get a Four of Kind with 2 to 4.

The second “Odds” column shows how many hands it takes on average to get at least that payout. So on average it takes ~28 hands to get a straight or better or ~390 hands to get any Four of a Kind or better hand.

If you prefer to complete the bonus WR with a low risk of losing, blackjack is a better option to play.

The following table shows Chance of Gain, Risk of Busting and the Bonus EV for different wagering requirements and bet sizes when completing play-through on All Aces video poker. See the return and variance calculator for other bet sizes and WRs.

Chance of Gain / Risk of busting

are relative to 100€ bonus. (ie. for 200€ bonus, multiply the bet size by two).

The table lists Chance of Gain and Risk of busting. The numbers are derived
by simulating 1000 sessions so they are not absolutely accurate.
Chance of Gain = Probability to end up with profit after completing the bonus wagering requirement
Risk of bust = Probability to lose the whole bankroll (deposit and bonus) before completing
the bonus wagering requirement.

The "Bonus EV" lists the expected value of the bonus. The values are relative to 100€ bonus
(ie. For 200€ bonus, multiply the EV by two).
